These poles only clamp on the top, middle and bottom of each section, these clamping areas being thicker than the rest of the pole and this is where the weight saving is gained. As with all poles the areas that are clamped on the most suffer the most wear.

Most clamping sections still have plenty of wear and had no need for refurbishment, however I have rebuilt the surface of two clamping areas using polyurethane resin so the pole now clamps nicely on all 3 areas on every section, the refurbished surface can be seen in pic 4. I have just fitted the new smart lever clamps from Gardiner's just as the finishing touch for this pole and it is a joy to operate. I fitted the smart levers after the initial pics were taken the last pic shows the smart levers.

It has a gritstop in the pole and I have put a new washer in for you. Also it comes with a flocked brush with pencil jets, and the snap band to keep the hose tidy.
