The courier only covers Mainland England, Wales and Southern Scotland. It does not cover Highlands, Islands or Ireland. I have recently had 3 systems described as defective when they were not. All my systems have a 24volt pump mounted running from a transformer. If running non stop both the pump and transformer can get quite warm.

Running on a timer giving it for instance 2 hours on and 30 mins off allows it to cool down which is likely to prolong their lives. You can run it 24/7 but my advice will prolong its life. This is advice not a fault and applies to all makes of system with a booster pump.

A reverse osmosis membrane can give results typically in the 95% to 92% region. 95% is typical but not guaranteed. If it gives 96% this is not a fault but is typical of all makes of reverse osmosis. Robert Deeley didnt know that a reverse osmosis system produces far more waste than pure.

If it produces more waste than pure then that is normal. It does not mean it is defective. It means it is following the laws of physics. I think I have an idiot magnet. 100 US gallon per day reverse osmosis system.
