HD Hose Guide Accessory for PowerUP 3D Electric Hose Reels

HD Hose Guides are a great addition to PowerUP3D or PowerUP3D-W. They are fitted close to the back doors of the vehicle using the self tapping screws provided. When pulling your hose out to the job they allow a wider arc of deployment while stopping the hose from rubbing on the van and damaging the paint. Without them, its more difficult to direct the reels towards the job and can mean doubling up on work by pulling out enough hose before walking to the job. In addition they have many benefits while re-winding under power. Normally when rewinding you'll have one hand on the push button and the other hand is spooling the hose back onto the reel with a cloth. If you're working at an acute angle to the van, the reel has to work harder to pull the hose through your cloth and you need to pull back and forth to spool. In addition, if there are any loops or entanglements in the hose you need to release the power button and rectify it before re-starting. When using a HD Hose Guide the majority of the work is negated while working at angles because the hose travels smoothly around the roller guide without excessive power. At this point the hose is now centred onto the reel and spooling becomes easy between the guide and the reel. In addition, many minor loops or entanglements are instantly straightened by the guide before they reach your hand.

Notice our guides are vertical and always bring the hose to the centre of the reel. They've never changed and it is no mistake, we know what you need because we're window cleaners for real. Compare that to the completely useless full width guides on our competitors reels, they do nothing during hose deployment nor do they offer any benefit while rewinding because you have to spool the hose and pull it away from their rollers? In actual fact they're only there to stop hoses becoming tangled in our competitors reels moving parts, completely useless for PowerUP3D which is fully enclosed.

While on this subject some customers are confused that we do not offer HD Hose Guides which can be pulled out on a slide for an increased arc of deployment. When we researched this 7 years ago we determined that the additional 5-10 degrees of deployment is not worth it. Our other product HD Security Pulleys offer 360 degree deployment with locked doors, we've always been right about this.

Other system suppliers are offering a Waterworks style hose guide set up and who can blame them?
