HIDROTEK 600 (US) GPD PURE WATER SYSTEM WITH PUMP. These brilliant and reliable appliances take tap water to the next level of purity; free of chlorine, nitrate, adverse taste or odours and reduced in total dissolved solids by 97%. This is ideal for the Koi and aquarium hobbyist and any others requiring a good supply of pure water (97% deionised) for drinking, cooking or any other purposes. This appliance can also be used for private water supplies to treat good quality i. Low turbidity spring or borehole water to provide protection against pesticides, nitrates, cryptosporidium and other viruses and bacteria. We can offer an additional deioniser cartridge to provide full deionisation capability.

With this deioniser cartridge fitted the fully deionised water can be used for window cleaning, laboratory formulations, battery top up, steam generators, instrument calibration etc. Please note that where the requirement for fully deionised water is significant then we would recommend a much larger separate DI vessel - 11 litres or larger- be used for economy.

We can also offer a modification for hard water areas (where no softener is fitted), in which case we substitute an antiscalant cartridge for the second stage filter. For the successful installation of the appliance the following is required. A minimum mains pressure of 14.5 psi (1 Bar). A cold water connection point (similar to that for a dishwasher or washing machine) although all connectors are provided in the box. A drain connection point(similar to that for a dishwasher or washing machine) although all connectors are provided in the box.

A tap, faucet or tank to dispense or collect the produced water (see note below). Mains power (plug is also provided). The appliance operates on demand and if connected to a tap (not provided) and switched on, the pump will start and produce water whenever the tap is opened. Where the output of the appliance freely discharges into a tank, it will need to be manually stopped and started by switching on and off unless the inlet to the tank is controlled by ball valve.
